About Morris-Minor-Conversions

Morris Minor Conversions was set up by me, Kevin Daly to help create an archive of the tuning conversions that were available for the Morris Minor which is an area of great interest to myself.

I am a member of the MMOC and of the Herts Branch.

This will give a database of information for all to use no matter what their area of interest and let a broader audience know what was available from 1948 and into the 1970's so if anybody wishes they can create a period car conversion, unless of course you already have one and would just like more information and details on the conversion.

Or even better if you have a converted car and would let me have details of what has been carried out.

Morris Minor History

The Morris Minor can be split into the four different series that were available during its production run.

Series MM - which was produced from September 1948 until February 1953.

Series II - which was produced from August 1952 until September 1956.

Early 1000 Series III - which was produced from October 1956 until September 1962.

Late 1000 Series V - which was produced from September 1962 until April 1971

What Happened to the Series IV - it was allocated to the Mini-Minor in 1959 of course.

If you want more detailed information about the production runs and differences between the four Series including chassis numbers, colour schemes, body details & engine differences use the link below for the Potteries website were my good friend Cam Shaw has done all the hard work for you, the link takes you straight to the correct page.
