These Tyre Ad's are all from the 1960, I wonder how many of the claims were true or just down to advertising jargon

Not sure about comparing your tyres to a horse, but the wording does appear to be stateside

Blue Star were a large chain that were originally battery specialist, I am not so sure about the tyre over the shoulder and driver seat though.
