Peco were originally known as Performance Equipment Company and were based in Tower Building, Water Street, Liverpool with their earliest offerings starting around 1958, and in the 60's moved to Sanford Street, Birkenhead and supplied their exhausts to various outlets using the abreavation Peco, however in 1964 they started advertising under their own name.
They were one of the first companies researching and developing the advantages of fitting sports exhausts to a wide range of cars. They are one of the UK's oldest manufacturers of high quality sports exhaust back boxes, systems and manifolds, they have even designed original equipment exhausts for prestige marques such as Lotus, Rolls Royce and Jensen. And as they are still in production today they are one of the few survivors from the the boom years of tuning products.
