Lively Motors Ltd

Lively Motors Ltd are not a company I had heard of before but appear to have been quite a large concern, and were based in Fulham High Street, London, and were another company riding on the tuning boom and both the advert and article come from a 1967 issue of Cars and Car Conversions magazine. Their premises consisted of four shops and they sold everything from upholstery paint through to half-shafts and the usual tuning items along with a vast range of tools.
The company was started in 1959 by two brothers Len and Jack Ruben and it developed into a mail order business as well as over the counter sales and were supposed to keep the largest stock of exhaust systems for all cars.
Apart from the vast range of accessories they kept they also offered products from Speedwell, Les Leston, Cosmic, Restall, Smiths ect, and they produced their own range of stage 1 and 2 cylinder heads along with their own cams.
